The latest North Oaks real estate market statistics were published this morning so we’ll be posting an update next week but the one number that homeowners are most interested in is the median sales price of a North Oaks home. This month, it’s $730,000. Now this is a decrease from this time last year when the median sales price sat at $826,778 but it’s an increase in the year-to-date price of $692,844.

So, what if you long to buy a house in North Oaks but there’s no way you can afford something in the $700,000 range? Well, it’ll be tough, but not impossible to find a home for less than that. In fact, right now there are three homes on the North Oaks real estate market priced less than the median sales price, but one of them just barely squeaked under the wire.

Yes, you’re reading that right. A home in North Oaks Minnesota priced at $369,900. Built in 1976, this home features 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in 3,224 square feet of living space. It sits on a roomy lot in the Mounds View School District.

As you can see, there’s quite a jump in price between the two least expensive homes for sale in North Oaks. This one offers 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms in 5,190 square feet of living space, wood floors and lovely built-ins.

It’s the location of this home that wowed us – right on Gilfillan Lake, with gorgeous lake views from the back of the home. Yes, there is a dock. See photos of this home here.

I guess that when the third least expensive home for sale in a real estate market is priced in excess of a half-million dollars it’s safe to call that market “pricey.” This home features 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in 4,197 square feet of living space.

Situated on a woodsy lot, this 1997-built home boasts open beams and gorgeous wood detailing on the windows and wood floors. Learn more about this home and view the photos here.
